Our highly specialist neuropsychologists have substantial experience providing expert witness services within civil litigation, accepting instructions from both claimant and defendant parties within personal injury and clinical negligence claims. We have a proven track record delivering thorough, high-quality, CPR-compliant reports tailored to the presenting needs and the questions posed within each instruction. All of our experts have completed specialist training in provision of expert witness services via a range of accredited bodies, including the British Psychological Society and Bond Solon.

Areas of expertise include psychological and neuropsychological consequences of:

  • Traumatic brain injury, spanning the spectrum from subtle to catastrophic.
  • Spinal cord injury.
  • Polytrauma.
  • Disfiguring or life altering injuries (e.g., amputation, scarring).
  • Acquired neuropsychological injury due to clinical negligence (e.g. peri or post-operative brain injuries, inappropriate or delayed treatment of neurological conditions).

We are commonly instructed in cases where there are a range of complex comorbid factors which may be contributing to neuropsychological functioning (e.g. brain injury, mental health, medications, fatigue, pain).

We also have a wealth of experience in assessments of mental capacity on behalf of the Court of Protection, for decisions including treatment, care and residence, property and affairs, sexual relations, contact, social media/internet use, creating wills and many more.

Appointments can be offered in our consulting rooms, or alternatively our experts are able to travel to complete home visits around the UK and overseas.
